High schoolers compete in 30th annual SkillsUSA Regional Conference at ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State

Skills tests ranged from criminal justice to TV/video production to public speaking. ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State faculty, staff, and students were heavily involved in the design, implementation, and judging of many of the contests. The Educational Foundation of ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥, Inc., annually provides $10,000 to ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State students through its work-grant program, allowing students who are ineligible for Federal College Work-Study funds to find employment on campus. Read Article

Archery team has strong showing at USA Archery Indoor Nationals

Nine members of the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State Archery team recently traveled to Lancaster, PA, to compete in the 50th USA Archery Indoor National Championships. The team held its own against colleges from around the country, and ended up with several strong finishes in both regional and national competitions. Read Article

Educational Foundation of ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥, Inc. assisting students through peer tutoring support

Since the 2010-2011 academic year, the Foundation has provided $5,500 annually to the college’s peer tutoring program. As a result, the program has fulfilled more than 925 student requests over the last six years, providing more than 6,428 hours of support. Read Article
