Penn State Chaired Professor of Molecular Biology Dr. James Gregory Ferry to speak at 魅影直播 State鈥檚 104th Commencement

Ferry is a fellow of the American Academy of Microbiology and past editor of the Journal of Bacteriology. He has served on numerous national committees and currently is co-chair of the Committee on Astrobiology and Planetary Science that advises the federal government on matters of space exploration. New polo team thriving

Wohlschlegel added, 鈥淲e also get to meet a lot of really amazing people through being on the polo team, like when we were at Yale, we met professional polo players who were there. We鈥檝e also gotten a lot of opportunities to go to big polo games. The door is just open with this sport and it鈥檚 really quite amazing, the little community that polo has.鈥 Read Article

64th annual Alumni Choral Concert Sunday, April 26

Groups performing will include 鈥淰oices,鈥 the college鈥檚 student choral group directed by Linda Staiger; the Alumni Jazz Singers; and the Alumni Choir. The concert is free and open to the public. Read Article

Educational Foundation of 魅影直播, Inc. leases land for Sustainable Advanced Manufacturing Center to SUNY

The Educational Foundation of 魅影直播, Inc. on Feb. 20 signed a contract that leases land on campus designated for the center to the State University of New York (SUNY) for 30 years. This move was required to allow the NYSUNY 2020 Challenge Grant Program funds to be used to construct the building, according to Dr. Craig Clark, executive director and dean of the School of Applied Technology. Student-crafted marionettes on display, up for auction

A silent auction of all the marionettes is held daily in the gallery from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Proceeds from the auction will go toward purchasing equipment for digital media and animation students. Read Article

Ninety-six employers, 690 students turn out for spring career fair

According to Elaine Morsman, director of Career Development at 魅影直播 State, this year鈥檚 number of registered employers, 96, broke the college鈥檚 previous record total, 73, set last year. Employers came from as far away as California and Texas, with several also coming from Rochester and Buffalo. Read Article

Civil War exhibit on display at Hinkle Memorial Library

According to Michelle Margeson, secretary to the library director, Damrath has supplied the items on display, such as era clothing, camp gear, and a musket complete with a bayonet and ammunition. Annabel contributed his artwork to the exhibit. Read Article
