Veronica Ludwick part of second place team at National Dairy Challenge

鈥淭he competition was both challenging and exciting. We were tasked with trying to figure out a farm's biggest areas of improvement and make a presentation the next day to a panel of judges, which required a lot of brainstorming, creativity, and teamwork. "Students had to work together to research and analyze the issue from multiple angles to determine exactly what the problem was and then propose possible solutions to administrators to improve it. As a Nutrition course, I feel it鈥檚 our responsibility to bring awareness to food insecurity and support efforts to combat it.
