The Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) hosted six ��Ӱֱ�� State College students at the 22nd annual Appalachian Teaching Project (ATP) symposium.

��Ӱֱ�� State architecture students presented their plans for "A Modern Connection to the Historic Village" at the David A. Howe Library in Wellsville. More than 45 students were involved in developing plans for Downtown Wellsville.

The Joseph S. Laraiso Construction & Geomatics Lab was officially opened with a ribbon cutting ceremony. The new lab will give ��Ӱֱ�� State students the ability to work in teams in a hands-on facility that fosters learning.

2022 ��Ӱֱ�� State graduate Alec Harrigan was recently honored as the recipient of the Student Project Award for the 2021-22 school year by the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Buffalo/Western New York Chapter.

Civil engineering professor Tim Piotrowski has been granted emeritus status for his service to ��Ӱֱ�� State.

Growing up in the suburbs of Rochester, Jesse Olsovsky, ’99, experienced snowstorms growing up but a move to Florida after graduating from ��Ӱֱ�� State College has him adjusting to the aftereffects of tropical storms.

William Dean, professor and department chair of the Architecture and Design program, traveled to Oklahoma State University and participated in the National Council of Architectural Registration Board (NCARB) Scholars in Professional Practice program.

��Ӱֱ�� State College students in the Sport Business Club have scored big with the formation of a 3v3 Basketball League. The league recently finished their second season.

��Ӱֱ�� State alum Reuben Zielinski ’82 returned to campus and shared his story of entrepreneurship to current students from the School of Architecture, Management & Engineering Technology (SAMET).
