Civil engineering professor Tim Piotrowski has been granted emeritus status for his service to ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State.

Growing up in the suburbs of Rochester, Jesse Olsovsky, ’99, experienced snowstorms growing up but a move to Florida after graduating from ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College has him adjusting to the aftereffects of tropical storms.

William Dean, professor and department chair of the Architecture and Design program, traveled to Oklahoma State University and participated in the National Council of Architectural Registration Board (NCARB) Scholars in Professional Practice program.

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College students in the Sport Business Club have scored big with the formation of a 3v3 Basketball League. The league recently finished their second season.

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State alum Reuben Zielinski ’82 returned to campus and shared his story of entrepreneurship to current students from the School of Architecture, Management & Engineering Technology (SAMET).

Eric Spence and his family stepped on to ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State’s campus and knew that it was the right spot for him to pursue his dreams. His education and his experiences at ASC have led him to a Senior Project Engineer role with Balfour Beatty.

BuildingPoint Northeast, Keystone Precision, and ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College celebrated a new partnership recently. The partnership provides high-tech equipment and training for students in the School of Architecture, Management, and Engineering Technology (SAMET).

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College graduate Brian Kelly ’17 and ’19 and his company, Kelly Design and Development, LLC has been awarded a business development grant from the City of Olean’s Boost Business Grant Program.

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State sport management students will have the opportunity to be part of the Buffalo Bills 2022 season. Thirty students in the program have joined the guest service team and will serve as ticket takers and ushers at home games.

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College (ASC) has announced the appointment of Assistant Professor Bryan Toepfer, AIA, NCARB, CAPM, as the NCARB Architect Licensing Advisor for the architectural programs. Professor Toepfer will assume his position effective September 1, 2022, in addition to his duties as Program Coordinator of the AAS Architectural Technology program in the Department of Architecture and Design.
