​Kacie Matuszak, of Henrietta, is also starting work in the construction industry. Before even earning her bachelor’s degree in architecture, she has a position waiting for her at Pathfinder Engineers & Architects, based in Rochester.

John Lisec, an assistant professor in the Business Department, said the event provided a wonderful opportunity for ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State sport management students to interact with sport industry professionals and develop tangible opportunities for success and job placement.

The victory marks the fifth time an ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State team has finished first in the competition. The college has also come in second four times since first entering the event in 2006.

During this recent trip, 13 students attended a presentation from the meeting’s featured speaker, Kathleen Roth, CFP® CeFT®, president and co-founder of Waterstone Financial Services. After the presentation, the students were able to network with Roth and other professionals at the meeting. 

Three ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State sport management students were able to gain valuable industry insight and engage in a number of significant networking opportunities recently during the 2018 Niagara University Sport, Recreation, and Tourism Summit. 

Mathew Watson, a 2017 graduate of the Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) program at ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State, has embarked on a global journey to launch his career in architecture, one that includes a rather unique focus – bamboo.

Nine students were recently installed in the Zeta V Chapter of the Sigma Lambda Chi (SLC) honor society at ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State.   

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College's construction management program was the focus of a recent article featured on FUEL, a website run by "word-toting construction junkies who build articles and drill into the details of construction."

A pair of ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College (ASC) financial planning majors were among just 54 students from throughout the nation who recently attended TD Ameritrade’s 2018 National LINC Conference in Orlando, FL. 

Over winter break, ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College students of digital media and animation (DMA), along with Associate Professor Jeremy Speed-Schwartz, explored art, cinema, and animation in Japan as part of the college’s Studio Tokyo program.
