The village of Canaseraga recently received some help with envisioning its comprehensive plan after ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State architecture students presented their designs for the future layout of the municipality recently at the Canaseraga High School.

As a result of the skills and knowledge she has gained in her sport management major and a connection she made on LinkedIn, Kiana Sleight was able to assist one of the most storied college basketball schools of all-time with its 2017 Countdown to Craziness night: Duke University.

When considering colleges, many students are searching not only for the right school but also for the right career path. ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College (ASC) is ranked near the top of the class when students search for several degrees in architecture, design, and business.

A group of  technology management students recently toured Incubator Works in ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥, where they learned about the importance of incubators to start-up businesses and to the development and launching of new technology products. 

Programs within the department that are eligible for accreditation include the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), financial planning (BBA), sport management (BBA), technology management (BBA), the Associate of Science (AS) in business administration sport management (AS), the Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in accounting and marketing (AAS).

Wilkins traveled to New York City, where he participated in a tour of the Financial District given by TD Ameritrade. Wilkins and his fellow winners were able to visit the Nasdaq MarketSite in Times Square and help ring the closing bell on July 18. 

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State has earned a $75,000 manufacturing innovation grant for the further development of fuel cells, and to assist a western New York company add a projected 15 jobs in the next four years.

SUNY Distinguished Teaching Professor James Grillo, Business Department, was honored recently for 45 years of service.
