The ��Ӱֱ�� State College (ASC) Culinary Arts department will be hosting a barbecue drive-thru dinner on Thursday, April 6 on the Wellsville campus. Proceeds of the $15 (Cash Only) dinner will benefit the Culinary Arts Scholarship funds.

“WNY Works is a collaborative effort to heighten awareness and interest in associate degrees, certificates, and non-credit training to provide the knowledge and skills necessary for individuals to launch high-demand careers. The goal of this effort, in part, is to reframe perceptions of learning opportunities that lead to careers such as highly skilled trades and technical opportunities in manufacturing.”

The ��Ӱֱ�� State College (ASC) Culinary Arts department will be holding a Mardi Gras plated five-course dinner on Feb. 21.

“I like being hands-on. We have lectures and go through the basics, and we talk through everything that we will experience in the real world. Getting hands-on you learn more, experience it, and you know exactly what is going to happen. When I go into the industry, I will already have done it.”

��Ӱֱ�� State College (ASC) is using the upcoming inauguration of Dr. Steven Mauro as an opportunity to celebrate the college and the entire WNY region including the great food that is found here. The reception following ASC inauguration ceremonies on October 20 is titled “A Taste of Western New York.”

Tyler Uebelhoer did not attend ��Ӱֱ�� State but has become a huge fan of the renewable energy education taught on campus. Uebelhoer and his company Buffalo Solar recently completed work on a community solar farm in ��Ӱֱ��.
