Kaleigh Ligoci, a 2009 graduate of ��Ӱֱ�� State’s culinary arts: baking, production and management program, is now the co-owner of a brand-new cake shop in the village of Liverpool called “Sugar Blossom Cake Shop.”

Under the guidance of Instructor Scott Hillman, 16 HVAC students installed an entire plumbing system at a newly built house on Clark Street in Wellsville.

��Ӱֱ�� State alumnus Jacob Nohai was recently featured in an article by the Epoch Times titled, “Hard Work and Dirty Jobs Afford Plenty of Opportunity.”

With the guidance of Professor Mike Ronan, students gathered outdoors for a meeting, following safety protocols with masks and individual temperature checks of all attendees. 

��Ӱֱ�� State College’s own Stephen Richard and Courtney DeRusha are donating their expertise, time, and energy to a project involved the restoration of the Langdon/Clemens family plot in Woodlawn Cemetery.

As work continues to progress on House 56, ��Ӱֱ�� State College students and faculty recently broke ground on what will become the 57th home the school has constructed for the Wellsville community.

Second-year students in ��Ӱֱ�� State College’s heavy equipment operations program, along with Lecturer Brian Adams, are spearheading the current build for a new “flexible theater” at the Fassett GreenSpace in Wellsville.

“When the opportunity came along to work at ��Ӱֱ�� State, it seemed like the perfect fit,” he said. “I could take the experience that I had in the industry, that started with my degree from ��Ӱֱ�� State, and pass it along to the next generation of students that are working toward being technicians themselves.”

Students in the building trades: building construction; masonry; heavy equipment operations; electrical construction and maintenance electrician; and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) programs all had a hand in the construction.
