Peer tutoring services at ��Ӱֱ�� State continue to benefit from the ongoing support of the Educational Foundation of ��Ӱֱ��, Inc. The generous annual donation of $6,500 has helped students achieve success and continue towards their academic goals.

The ��Ӱֱ�� State College (ASC) Culinary Arts department will be hosting a barbecue drive-thru dinner on Thursday, April 6 on the Wellsville campus. Proceeds of the $15 (Cash Only) dinner will benefit the Culinary Arts Scholarship funds.

��Ӱֱ�� State first year student-athlete Conor Compton (Rexford, NY/Niskayuna) dove to All-American honors at the NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving National Championships. Compton finished 7th on the 3m board.

Diver Conor Compton (Rexford, NY/Niskayuna) made ��Ӱֱ�� State history when he qualified for the 2023 NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving National Championships. Compton is the first Pioneer diver to compete at Nationals.

Over 900 high school students and their advisors competed in 44 different competitions held on both the ��Ӱֱ�� and Wellsville campuses.

“Opening the Studio was a group effort that could not have been accomplished without Sandra Burdick, Tony Harvey, Jon Nickerson, Hady ElSayed, and Gene Doorley. All their efforts made my idea come to life. I am grateful to see how booked the space has been and that students are really enjoying it. I look forward to what the future holds for this space.”

“WNY Works is a collaborative effort to heighten awareness and interest in associate degrees, certificates, and non-credit training to provide the knowledge and skills necessary for individuals to launch high-demand careers. The goal of this effort, in part, is to reframe perceptions of learning opportunities that lead to careers such as highly skilled trades and technical opportunities in manufacturing.”
