Lady Pioneers Blank Niagara

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College women's soccer team recorded its sixth shutout, 2-0 over Niagara CCC, on Saturday afternoon.  ASC, ranked #10 in Division III of the NJCAA, improve to 6-1-2 on the season.

Cross Country: Men 4th, Women 6th at Highlander Invitational

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College cross country teams fared very well as they competed versus a mostly four-year school field at the Highlander Invitational at Houghton College.  The men finished 4th out of 12 scoring teams while the women finished 6th out of 11.

Men's Soccer Wins OT Thriller

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College men's soccer team scored rallied for a 2-1 overtime victory over Broome CC on Thursday afternoon.  Justin Handley (Iroquois) netted the game winner with 1:46 remaining in the first overtime to run the Pioneers winning streak to three games.

Lady Pioneers Fall in OT

In a battle of two NJCAA Division III top ten teams, Broome CC scored the lone goal of the game with 1:28 remaining in the first overtime to earn the victory over ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State.  The Lady Pioneers, ranked #10, fall to 5-1-2 on the season while the Lady Hornets, the two-time defending NJCAA Division III champion and currently ranked #4, improve to 8-2 on the season.

Lady Spikers fall to Niagara

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College volleyball team won the opening game versus Niagara CCC 25-23 but were slowed down by poor serving and passing and fell in the next three, 20-25, 17-25, 23-25.  The Lady Pioneers fall to 4-5 (3-4 Region III Division III) on the season.

Lady Pioneers Down Genesee

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College women's soccer team scored three goals in the final 16 minutes to run their unbeaten streak to seven games.  With the 3-0 win over Genesee CC the Lady Pioneers are now 5-0-2 (4-0-1 Region III Division III) on the season.

Big Plays Lead Pioneers to Victory

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College football team used big plays to jump out to an early lead over Buffalo State JV en route to a 41-27 victory in their 2009 home opener.  The Pioneers improve to 2-1 on the season.

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State to Induct Five into Athletic Hall of Fame

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College athletic hall of fame will induct five new members on September 25th during Homecoming weekend.  Basketball player Tom Hirsch, football player Chris Gray, baseball player Eric Baker, and cross country athletes Andy Coots and Gary Redding will become the newest members of the hall of fame.  The athletic department will also be honoring the 1984 cross country team.

Pioneers Rally to Sweep Penn Tech

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College baseball team rallied in both halves of a non-conference doubleheader versus Penn Tech on Sunday afternoon.  ASC won the opener 7-3 with seven unanswered runs and won the nightcap, 6-5, with two runs in the 7th.
