÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥

Three early turnovers helped Cornell University JV jump out to a 30-0 lead en route to a 33-19 victory over ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State in the rain on Friday evening.  The Pioneers nine game non-conference winning streak dating back to the 2007 season comes to an end and the '09 squad falls to 3-2 on the season.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College volleyball team fell in four to Corning CC on Thursday night, 19-25, 18-25, 25-21, 25-27.  The Lady Pioneers are now 9-9 on the season.

After falling behind 1-0, the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College women's soccer team got the offense going in a 4-1 victory over Erie CC on Thursday evening.  With the victory, the Lady Pioneers are 8-1-2 (7-1-1 Region III Division III) on the season.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College men's soccer team won their fifth straight game 3-1 over Erie CC at Pioneer Stadium on Thursday afternoon.  The Pioneers improve to 6-4 (5-3 Region III Division III) with the win.

Kathy Feldman, athletic director at ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College, has announced the hiring of Mark Kanellis as the college’s new lacrosse coach.  Kanellis will also serve as the director of intramurals.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College baseball team scored two runs in the bottom of the 8th en route to a 3-2 victory over Niagara CCC in a WNYAC first round match-up played on the turf at Bolivar Richburg High School.  The Pioneers advance to the final four to be played Saturday at Dwyer Stadium in Batavia.

The 2009 ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College cross country team is not only climbing up the NJCAA Division III poll but members of the team are making a difference with a trio of community service events.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College women's soccer team moved up two spots in the latest NJCAA Division III poll.  ASC is now ranked #8 after debuting last week in the 10th spot.  Lady Pioneer goalie Mo Parks (Avoca) was named the NJCAA Division III goalie of the week as well.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College women's soccer team recorded its seventh shutout of the season, 2-0 over JCC-Olean on Tuesday evening.  The win for the 10th ranked NJCAA Division III squad improves their record to 7-1-2 overall and 6-1-1 in Region III Division III play.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College volleyball team fell 21-25, 19-25, 23-25 to Jamestown CC in a WNYAC dual match on Tuesday evening.  The Lady Pioneers are now 9-8 (8-7 Region III Division III) on the season.
