Lady Pioneers continue Roll

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College women's soccer team extended their unbeaten streak to six games to start the 2009 season with a 2-1 victory over Mercyhurst North East.  The Lady Pioneers are now 4-0-2 on the season.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College men's soccer team won their second straight and third in their last four games with a 1-0 victory over Mercyhurst North East on Saturday.  The Pioneers improve to 3-4 on the season.

Both the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State men's and women's cross country teams fared well at the Finger Lakes Invitational on Saturday.  The men finished 2nd and the women 3rd out of seven teams.

Baseball splits with Monroe

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College baseball team split a WNYAC doubleheader with Monroe CC in Rochester on Saturday.  ASC fell 8-3 in the opener but rebounded for a 4-2 victory in game two.

Lady Pioneers Run Unbeaten Streak to Five

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College women's soccer team downed Jamestown CC 1-0 to run their season opening unbeaten streak to five games.  The Lady Pioneers are now 3-0-2 on the season.

Masanari Yamamoto (Tokyo, Japan) scored a second half goal as the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College men's soccer team downed Corning CC 1-0 on Thursday afternoon.  The Pioneers improve to 2-4 (2-3 in Region III Division III games) on the season.

Spikers Rally to Down Monroe

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College volleyball team rallied from a 2-1 deficit to defeat Monroe CC 3-2 in a WNYAC match-up in Rochester on Tuesday evening.  ASC won the first game 25-21 but fell 17-25 and 16-25 to fall in a hole before battling back for 25-22 and 15-12 wins.

Men's Soccer Falls to Bryant & Stratton

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College men's soccer team played tough versus NJCAA Division I Bryant & Stratton but could not find the back of the net in a 2-0 loss on Tuesday evening at Pioneer Stadium.  The loss drops the Pioneers to 1-4 on the year.

Parks and Seitz Named ASC Athletes of the Week

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College athletic department has chosen women's soccer goalie Mo Parks (Avoca) and men's cross country runner Joe Seitz (Williamsville) as the athletes of the week.
