÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥

Instead of charging admission to their contest Saturday vs. the Onondaga Ogres Football Club, the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College football team will collecting donations for the athletic department's "Dig Pink" campaign.  Donations will be collected at the front gate and will be added to the volleyball team's fundraising effort for the Side-Out Foundation.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College women's cross country team will head into Saturday's Region III Championship at ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State as the #1 team in the latest NJCAA Division III poll.  The Lady Pioneers will face stiff competition at Regionals as they are joined in the top ten by four other Region III opponents.

Jenna Lynn (York) and Alonzo Joyner (Queens/Information Technology) have been named the ASC Athletes of the Week by the SID office.

Herkimer CCC scored two goals eight minutes apart midway through the 1st half as they defeated ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State 2-1 in the Region III Division III B semifinals.  The Lady Pioneers finish the season with a 12-5 overall record.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College football team has added a home game for Saturday Oct. 29th versus the Onondaga Ogre Football Club.  Kickoff will be at 3:30 p.m. at Pioneer Stadium.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College volleyball team will enter this weekend's Region III Division III Tournament as the #6 seed.  The Lady Pioneers are currently 22-15 and accumulated a 11-6 mark in Region III Division III contests

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College volleyball team entered the Western New York Athletic Conference tournament as the #5 seed and finished the day 1-1.  The Lady Pioneers are now 22-15 on the year.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College women's soccer team got the offense going as they defeated Erie CC 7-0 to advance in the Region III Division III Tournament.  The Lady Pioneers, the #6 seed, will travel to #3 Herkimer CCC on Tuesday for a 2nd round contest.

#5 Onondaga CC downed #12 ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College 5-0 in a Region III Division III Tournament 1st Round contest.  The Pioneers finish the season 5-9-1 while the Lazers move on to the 2nd round to take on #4 Tompkins Cortland CC.

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State and Wright State Club struggled to put points on the boards but the Raiders defense put together a goal line stand in the final minutes of the game to perserve a 11-7 victory.
