÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥

Camille Romero (Queens Village/Mary Louis) and Tyler Peet (Unadilla Valley) have been named the ASC winter athletes of the week by the SID office.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College women's soccer team has landed four players on the 2011 All-Region team.  Jenna Lynn (York) was named 1st team while Holli Pierce (Livonia), Maura Tuffey (Albany/The Academy of the Holy Names), and Simone Delaney (Canisteo Greenwood) were named 2nd team.

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College sophomore volleyball players Mandy Bush (Altoona, PA) and Meghan Kraus (Trumansburg) have been named All-Region.  While Bush, Kraus, and Kay Pfleghardt (Tioga) were named All-WNYAC.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College women's basketball team won a hard fought battle 74-71 over SUNY Delhi in the finals of the Delhi Tournament.  The win improves the Lady Pioneers to 3-0 on the young season.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College men's swimming team finished 2nd at the Genesee CC Harvest Invitational while the women finished 5th.  The men scored 290.5 points on the day and trailed only GCC's 302.5 while the women accumulated 62 points.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College women's cross country raced to the NJCAA Division III National Championship on Saturday in Westfield, MA.  The national championship is the second in the progams history and first since 2003.

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State scored 27 unanswered points en route to a 48-26 victory over Hudson Valley CC to advance to the Region III Championship game next week.  The Pioneers are now 5-4 on the year

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College women's basketball team tripped up Sullivan County CC 72-42 in the first round of the SUNY Delhi Tournament.  ASC advances to tomorrow's championship game vs. SUNY Delhi

Tyler Peet (Unadilla Valley) opened up his season an impressive fashion by winning the 149 lb. weight class title at the Ithaca Invitational.  Peet helped the Pioneers to a 9th place finish and 50 points in the two-day competition.

All five starters scored in double digits as the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College men's basketball defeated Queensborough CC in the consolation game of the Mohawk Valley CC Tournament 89-83.
