Cynthia Santora, Scio, director of Public Relations at ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College, was recently presented with the SUNY Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Professional Service, the State University of New York's most prestigious honor.  The award recognizes a member of the professional staff who has provided outstanding service to ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College and demonstrates excellence in professional activities beyond the job description.

It took two years, but three members of the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College faculty and a friend capped the last 24 months spent growing their hair by cutting it to donate the tumbling tresses to Locks of Love, an organization that provides hairpieces to children under age 18 suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis.
