Officials at ��Ӱֱ�� State College are pleased to announce the following new hires in the Division of Academic Affairs: Henry Cabrera, Kera Mariotti, Jeffrey Patronek, Timothy Piotrowski, and Anthony Reboja.

Home cooking takes center stage this fall at ��Ӱֱ�� State College's Central Dining Hall as the dining services team introduces the "Taste from Home Recipe" contest. 

��Ӱֱ�� State College is honored to be included as one of the colleges participating in US Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton's "New York Farm Day" to be held in Washington, DC, in late September.

��Ӱֱ�� State College is ranked in the Top 50 of Baccalaureate Colleges in the North in the 2009 edition of "America's Best Colleges" by U.S. News & World Report, the nation's leading source of service journalism and news. This is the second consecutive year that ��Ӱֱ�� State has appeared in the America's Best Colleges rankings.

Gary Moore, ��Ӱֱ�� State College class of 1976, is head coach of the full spectrum of running sports on campus:  men's and women's cross country, men's and women's indoor track, and men's and women's outdoor track. 

��Ӱֱ�� State College's Office of Admissions is hosting its annual High School Visitation Program this fall.  The program has been scheduled for each Thursday starting Sept. 25, and running through Nov. 13, 2008. 

The Culinary Arts Department, School of Applied Technology, ��Ӱֱ�� State College, will hold a "Viva Italia" spaghetti dinner in the Culinary Arts Building on the Wellsville campus, Thursday, Oct. 9, from 5-7 p.m. 

John Garippa, associate professor, Automotive Trades Department, ��Ӱֱ�� State College, was recently named the 2008 Educator of the Year at the North American Council of Automotive Teachers (NACAT) conference held recently at the Pennsylvania College of Technology in Williamsport. 

The Automotive Trades Department of ��Ӱֱ�� State College (Wellsville Campus), in conjunction with Tenneco, is sponsoring a "Drive and Ride" event on Monday, Sept. 29, 2008, from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Wellsville Campus.  This event is open to the public free of charge.

��Ӱֱ�� State College's first Homecoming/ Family weekend in a number of years was declared a success, despite the almost constant rain and a couple of unfortunate losses on the playing field.
