Kellogg points out that Philip Wylie (1902-71) used the medium of science fiction to express his vision of a future world in which the environment has been permanently damaged by corporate greed and the reckless use of modern technology.

��Ӱֱ�� State College and Atlantic Richfield (a BP-affiliated company) officials gathered recently to announce the transfer of the wetland treatment system site to the college.

Courses are developed to help managers or counter professionals gain knowledge in store operations. These online courses include studies in areas such as inventory control, store layout and design, basic understanding of financials, understanding cataloging, and pricing concepts. Courses may be taken individually for college credit through ASC’s Center for Community Education and Training.

“The students made a big impact on the garden space by installing a slate patio around a gazebo that had been relocated to the garden space because of construction on campus,” explained Ashley Kehoe, director of Civic Engagement and Student Leadership programs.

The High School Student Leadership Program fee is $50. There is also an additional $50 charge for lunch and snacks for those participants who choose to not bring their own lunches. Carley Youngman, Spencerport, an architectural technology major at ��Ӱֱ�� State College, was recently awarded the 2011 scholarship from the Greater Rochester, NY Chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC).
