Pioneers Compete at NYS Championships

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State wrestling team finished T-18th at the annual NYS Collegiate Championships held at Cornell on Saturday.  The tournament features wrestlers from every college, NCAA DI, DIII, and NJCAA, in New York that has a wrestling program. Read Article

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State men's basketball team slowed down Rockland CC's high octane offense but the Hawks were able to pull out a 60-51 victory in a 1st round ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State Tournament contest.  The Pioneers are now 2-3 on the year. Read Article

Lady Pioneers Suffer First Loss

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State women's basketball team lost a back and forth contest 75-71 to Westchester CC in the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State Tournament.  The game featured seven ties and ten lead changes. Read Article

Thone Leads Swimmers at Herkimer

Danielle Thone (Wappingers Falls/Roy Ketcham) won three events to lead the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State swim team at the Herkimer CCC Fall Invitational. The Pioneer men finished 4th while the women finished 5th in the competition. Read Article

Pioneers Even Record

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State men's basketball team evened up their record with a 61-46 victory over St. John Fisher JV on Thursday evening.  The Pioneers hit seven 3-pointers to key the victory. Read Article

Swimmers Compete at Monroe Double Dual

For the second week in a row the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State men's swimming team split a WNYAC double dual match. The Pioneers defeated Mercyhurst North East 89-31 but fell 117-46 to Monroe CC. In the women's competition, ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ fell 113-28 to Monroe and 68-46 to Mercyhurst NE. Read Article

Corning Squeezes Past Pioneers

Corning CC hit there foul shots down the stretch as they defeated ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State 63-51 on Tuesday evening. The Pioneers are now 1-2 on the year while the Red Barons are 2-4. Read Article

Witchella Leads Lady Pioneers past Corning

Haley Witchella (Oxford Academy) had a monster night as she led the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State women's basketball team to a 73-65 victory over Corning CC. The Lady Pioneers are now 5-0 on the young season. Read Article

Porter, Jones, and Peraino Named All-Conference

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State soccer players Mitchell Porter (÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ Almond), Kyle Jones (Wilson), and Nick Peraino (Geneseo) have been named All-WNYAC following the 2012 season. The Pioneers finished the year 5-8-3. Read Article
