Cross Country raises $1,000 for Cancer Society

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College cross country team started preseason practice in an unusual way to celebrate the college's Centennial.  The 17 members of the 2007 squad along with Head Coach Gary Moore and Assistant Coach Jeremiah Bailey participated in a 130 mile relay run that took them from Lockport to ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ and raised $1,000 for the American Cancer Society. Rees & Grillo Honored by SUNY

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College Professors Jim Grillo, Hammondsport, and Robert E. Rees, ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥, both members of the School of Management and Engineering Technology, were among 28 SUNY-wide faculty members recognized by the State University of New York as Distinguished Teaching Professor and Distinguished Service Professor, respectively.  The designation constitutes a promotion above that of full professor. Holmok named women's soccer coach

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College athletic director Kathy Feldman has appointed Anne Holmok as the college's women's soccer coach for the 2007 season.  Holmok begins her second stint as the Lady Pioneers head coach on August 13th. Read Article

Balloon Rally Parade

Members of the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College faculty and staff, their children and grandchildren pulled out all the stops during this year's Great Wellsville Balloon Rally parade.  As part of the College's centennial celebration, a patriotic red-white-and-blue-themed float carried members of the ASC Centennial Committee and others as they distributed in excess of 70 pounds of candy as well as other give-a-ways, including A Read Article
