Men finish 8th, Women 9th at Swim Nationals

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College men's swim team finished 8th in the nation while the women finished 9th at the four day national championships in Buffalo.  The men's team scored 143 points while the women scored 66. Read Article

Six Pios named All-WNYAC

Six members of the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College men's soccer team have been named to the All-Western New York Athletic Conference team.  Cole Finnemore (Genesee Valley), Andrew Beardsley (Letchworth), and Matt Paryz (Lancaster) were 1st team selections while Colin Coon (Trumansburg), Dom Bisone (Tonawanda), and Chris Coogan (Rome Free) were named to the 2nd team. Goaltender Jeremiah Bova (Salamanca) and attackmen Mitch Wensel (Corning East) have been named All-Region III Honorable Mention. Read Article

Blue and Gold land seven on All-NFC team

Seven members of the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College football team have been named to the All-Northeast Football Conference team.  Nabil Ra'Qib El-Amin (Rochester/Wilson) and Ryan Turner (Canisteo Greenwood) each were named to the 1st team.  CJ Lee (Lockport) and Jamie Luckett (St. Charles, MO) were named 2nd team while Rob Fife (North Canaan, CT), Mike Stromsness (Bath), and Kyle Martin (New Paltz) were named honorable mention. El-Amin Named All-American

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College running back Nabil Ra'Qib El-Amin (Rochester/Wilson) has been honored by the NJCAA by being named honorable mention All-American.  El-Amin is the 6th Pioneer in football history to be named All-American. Read Article

Former Pioneer to play in Magnolia Bowl

Former ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College cornerback Codera Jackson (Rochester/East) will finish off his collegiate playing career in the 2nd annual Magnolia Bowl in Jackson, MS this Saturday.  Jackson recently finished his career at Youngstown State as he helped the Penguins to the NCAA Division IAA semifinals and a 11-3 record. Lady Pioneers finish 6th, Pioneers finish 8th at Nationals

199 athletes representing 28 different NJCAA Division III cross country programs competed in the mud at ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State at the 2006 National Championships.  Gloucester (NJ) County College won their first ever National title on the women's side while SUNY Delhi won the men's title for the third straight year. The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State Cross Country program had a strong showing.  The women's team finished 6th with 125 points while the men finished 8th with 208 points. Read Article

Haynesworth & Wray named All-Region

Sophomore guard Maceo Haynesworth (Hartsville, SC) and freshmen forward Keron Wray (Brooklyn/Grady) have been named to the Region III Division II All-Region team.  Both players were named to the 3rd team. Read Article

Athletic Department hands out end of year awards

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College athletic department recently handed out their end-of-year awards at a ceremony held at college's Lake Lodge.  Read Article

Track teams win Regional Titles

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College men's and women's outdoor track and field teams captured Region III Championships on Saturday at SUNY Delhi.  The men were 17 points better than 2nd place SUNY Delhi with 237 points while the women racked up 195 points to better Herkimer CCC's 136 points. Read Article
