Turnovers Prove Costly to Pioneers

Five ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College turnovers led to two touchdowns for Lackawanna College in the Falcons 29-19 victory at Pioneer Stadium on Saturday.  The Pioneers are now 3-4 (0-3 NFC) while the Falcons improve to 5-2 (3-1 NFC).

Lady Pioneers fall to Mercyhurst at WNYAC Tournament

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College volleyball team fell 16-25, 21-25, 15-25 to Mercyhurst North East at the WNYAC Tournament on Saturday afternoon.  The Lady Pioneers end the regular season with a 19-12 mark and will now await the seeding for next week's Region III Division III Tournament.

WNYAC Volleyball Tournament Re-seeded

Saturday's WNYAC volleyball tournament has been re-seeded after Jamestown CC forfeited a series of games.  ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State moves up to the #4 seed and will take on #5 Mercyhurst North East in a quarterfinal match-up.

Pioneers Rally for Big Victory

Trailing 2-0 in the second half, the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College men's soccer team scored three unanswered goals for a crucial Region III Division III victory, 3-2 at Genesee CC.  With the victory, the Pioneers improve to 7-5-1 on the year (6-5-1 Region III Division III).

Women's Soccer Earns #4 Seed for Regionals

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College women's soccer team is the #4 seed for the upcoming Region III Division III Tournament.  The Lady Pioneers have earned a bye in the first round and will host the winner of #5 Genesee CC/#12 Clinton CC on October 27.

Lady Spikers #5 Seed for WNYAC Tournament

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College volleyball team will enter the WNYAC Tournament as the #5 seed.  The Lady Pioneers will take on #4 Niagara CCC at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.

Seven Pioneer Baseball Players Named All-WNYAC

Seven members of the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College baseball team have earned All-WNYAC honors following the Pioneers 8-6 fall season.  Mark Ciccotti (Horseheads) and Jake Dale (Keshequa) were 1st team selections, Kyle Barkley (Penn Yan) and Brian Zimmermann (Frontier) earned 2nd team honors, and Steve Smith (Hornell), JP Frey (Erie, PA), and Brian Ervay (Elmira Southside) were on the honorable mention team.

ASC drops WNYAC finale

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College volleyball team couldn't overcome a slow start and fell 3-1 (16-25, 21-25, 25-14, 22-25) to Erie CC in their WNYAC regular season finale.  The Lady Pioneers are now 16-14 overall, 14-13 in Region III Division III contests, and 2-4 in WNYAC matches.

ASC Remains Ranked 3rd and 5th in Cross Country Poll

For the third straight week, the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College cross country teams remain steady in the NJCAA Division III poll.  The men's team remains ranked #3 while the women are ranked #5.

Lady Pioneers Win Big in Regular Season Finale

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College women's soccer team ended the regular season with an 8-0 victory over Corning CC on Monday evening at Pioneer Stadium.  The Lady Pioneers, ranked #8 in NJCAA Division III, head into the postseason with a 10-2-3 mark.
