The men's and women's cross country teams have both received national recognition this week with the women ranked 2nd and the men ranked 4th in the latest NJCAA Division III poll.

Men's and Women's Soccer Teams both ranked in Top 10

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State women's soccer team moved up two spots in the national rankings this week and are now ranked 7th. The men's soccer team also improved in the polls this week moving up one spot to 10th.

ASC to host annual volleyball tournament Saturday

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College will host its annual volleyball tournament this weekend at the Orvis Activities Center. The Lady Pioneers will look to defend their title from the 2007 tournament.

Pioneers drop heartbreaker in 13

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College baseball team dropped a 13-inning 3-2 decision to Monroe CC in the WNYAC semifinal on Saturday afternoon. The Pioneers finish the fall season with a 6-9 mark.

Lady Pioneers Run Unbeaten Streak to Eight

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College women's soccer team ran its unbeaten streak to eight games with a 4-0 victory over Cayuga CC on Saturday afternoon. With the victory the Lady Pioneers, ranked #9 in the latest NJCAA Division III poll, improve to 9-2-1 (8-2-1 Region III Division III).

Cross Country finishes 5th at CCRI

Both the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College men's and women's cross country teams earned 5th place finishes at the CC of Rhode Island Invitational. The race featured 13 schools and was a preview of the National Championship that will be held at CCRI on November 8.

Lady Pioneers win 19th

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College volleyball team earned their 19th victory with a 25-13, 25-17, 25-20 victory over Corning CC at the Orvis Activities Center on Thursday. The Lady Pioneers are now 19-2 on the season and ranked #9 in the latest NJCAA Division III poll.

ASC downs Erie CC

Jessie Smith (Fredonia) scored two goals as the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College women's soccer team downed Erie CC 2-0 in a weather shortened game on Thursday afternoon in Orchard Park. With the win the Lady Pioneers, ranked #9 in NJCAA Division III, improve to 8-2-1 (7-2-1 Region III Division III) on the season.

Pioneers shutout JCC-Olean

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College men's soccer team scored six 1st half goals en route to a 6-0 victory over JCC-Olean on Thursday afternoon. The win is the team's third straight shutout and improves them to 9-3 (9-1 Region III Division) on the season.

Football Adds Game

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College football team has added one more contest to the 2008 schedule. The Pioneers will travel to SUNY Brockport on Monday October 13th to take on the JV Golden Eagles. Kickoff is scheduled for 4 p.m. at Special Olympics Stadium.
