Q & A with Audrey Rath

Audrey Rath (Medina) has been a defensive specialist playing almost every minute of the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College soccer season.Ìý Rath has put six shots on net and has been credited with one assist on the season.Ìý More importantly she has played sweeper for a defensive unit that has allowed just 16 goals in 15 games on the season.Ìý The Lady Pioneers ended the regular season with a 10-4-1 mark and will host a Regional semifinal game on Tuesday.Ìý Rath sat down and answered a few questions from the sports information office.

Men's Soccer Moves up Two Spots

Volleyball Ranked #6

As a result of a 5-0 week and capturing the ASC Tournament championship, the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College volleyball team jumped up one spot to #6 in the latest NJCAA Division III poll.Ìý The Blue and Gold, currently 25-2 on the season, have been in every poll of the season.

Women's Soccer moves up to #6

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College women's soccer team stayed in the NJCAA Division III poll for the third straight week and moved up a spot to #6.Ìý The Lady Pioneers finished the regular season with a 10-4-1 overall mark and a 9-3-1 record versus Region III Division III competition.

Women's Soccer Earns #3 Seed

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College women's soccer team has earned the #3 seed in the upcoming Region III Division III Tournament.Ìý With the #3 seed the Lady Pioneers will have a bye in theÌýquarterfinal round and will host a semifinalÌýmatch-up versus the winner of the #6 SUNY Delhi and #12 JCC-OleanÌýquarterfinal round contest on Tuesday October 21.

Lady Spikers Win Eighth Straight

Lady Pioneers fall in Double Overtime

Mary Butlak found the back of the net with 1:51 remaining in double overtime to lift Finger Lakes CC to a 2-1 victory in the regular season finale for both teams.Ìý The Lady Pioneers, ranked #7 in the latest NJCAA Division III poll will head into the playoffs with a 10-3-1 (9-2-1 Region III Division III record) while the Lady Lakers, #4 in the NJCAA Division III poll, improve to 18-0-1.
