A-State falls to Del Tech

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College lacrosse team couldn't overcome a slow start and fell 18-11 to Delaware Tech on Friday afternoon.  The Pioneers trailed 11-5 at half and see their record even up at 1-1 while Del Tech improves to 2-3.

Baseball drops a pair of one-run games

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College baseball team lost a pair of one-run contests on Friday in Cocoa, FL.  The Pioneers fell 7-6 to Camden County (NJ) CC in nine innings and then fell 11-10 to Prairie State (IL) College.  The Pioneers are now 5-6 on the season.

Track team opener delayed

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College outdoor track & field team was scheduled to compete at the Howard CC Invitational on Saturday but cold forecasted weather has forced the team to stay home.

Lax Wins Season Opener

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College lacrosse team won their season opener 11-9 over Harford (Bel Air, MD) on Thursday afternoon.  Four different Pioneers found the back of the net in the victory.

Softball Wraps up Spring Trip

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College softball team split their final doubleheader at Snowbird Softball in Myrtle Beach, SC.  The Pioneers earned a forfeit victory in their opener over Massasoit (MA) CC and then fell 5-2 to Marshalltown (IA) CC.  ASC finishes the trip with a 1-7 record.

Pioneer split at Cocoa

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College baseball team split a doubleheader on Wednesday at Cocoa Expo in Cocoa, FL.  The Pioneers fell 11-5 to Ridgewater (MN) College but rebounded for a 3-1 victory over Cumberland (NJ) County CC.  With the split the Blue & Gold are now 5-4 on the season.

Lady Pioneers continue spring break trip

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College softball team continued their spring trip to Myrtle Beach on Wednesday and were downed 8-4 by OSU (OH) Newark and 9-1 by Mercer (NJ) County CC.  The Lady Pioneers head into the final day of competition at Snowbird Softball on Thursday with a 0-6 record.

Trio of A-State Alums help Wesleyan to Nationals

A trio of ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College women's basketball alumni helped the Roberts Wesleyan basketball team to a 22-12 record and a 4th place finish at the National Christian College Athletic Association.  Erin Farney (South Seneca), Jaslynn Lee (Rush Henrietta), and Erin Vess (Irondequoit) all were key contributors to the Lady Raiders.

Marshall earns another award

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College sophomore guard Dusty Marshall (Newfield) has been honored for the third time this postseason.  Marshall who was previously named 1st team All-Region and 1st team All-Region adds a 2nd team Basketball Coaches Association of New York 2nd team honor.

Blue and Gold Run Win Streak to Four

After dropping their first three games on their southern trip to Cocoa, FL the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College baseball team has run their current winning streak to four games with two victories on Tuesday.  The Blue and Gold downed Minot State (ND) Bottineau 6-4 and then got the offense going with a 13-3 victory over Riverland (MN) CC.
