÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥

Niagara CCC used big innings in both games as they swept ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State 7-1 & 11-4 in a WNYAC doubleheader in Sanborn on Saturday.  ASC was playing for the first time in 10 days.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College men's soccer team could not find the back of the net as they fell 1-0 to Jefferson CC on Saturday afternoon.  The Pioneers offense has yet to get going as the team has scored two goals in their first three games (0-2-1).

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College women's soccer team went on the road for the first time in 2011 and earned a hard fought 1-0 victory over Jefferson CC.  The Lady Pioneers are now 2-1 on the year.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College volleyball team swept all three of their matches at the Adirondack CC Pod on Saturday. The wins improve the Lady Pioneers to 7-3 overall and 3-0 in Region III Division III play.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College women's cross country team scored a perfect score as they won the ASC Invitational on Saturday.  The men's team finished 3rd out of five teams at the annual event.

After dropping the first game, the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College volleyball team rallied to win the next three to defeat Monroe CC 22-25, 25-23, 25-23, 25-11 in a WNYC match-up.  ASC improves to 4-3 and 1-1 in WNYAC play on the season while MCC is now 4-2.

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College will once again welcome alumni and families of current students for Homecoming/Family Weekend 2011, Thursday, Sept. 22-Sunday, Sept. 25, on the ASC campus.

Hundreds of visitors are expected to converge on campus to reconnect with old friends or visit with their students, perhaps for the first time since dropping them off for the fall semester in August.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College women's cross country team has been ranked 9th in the first NJCAA Division III poll of the 2011 season.  The Lady Pioneers are one of five Region III teams in the top ten.

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State and Tompkins Cortland CC battled back and forth until Lady Panther Angela Halliday snuck a shot underneath a diving goalie in the 75th minute to lead TC3 to a 1-0 victory.  The win evens the Panthers record at 2-2 and drops ASC to 1-1.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College volleyball team battled tough with Genesee CC in their opening WNYAC match of the season but fell 25-27, 13-25, 25-22, 19-25.  ASC is now 3-3 on the season while GCC is 3-10.
