÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥

For the second straight Saturday, the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College volleyball team won all three matches at the FLCC Pod.  ASC defeated Cayuga CC 25-23, 25-12, 25-18, Onondaga CC 25-19, 25-16, 25-16, and Jefferson CC 25-23, 25-21, 26-24.

Colby Curran (÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ Almond) scored with 6:40 remaining in the 2nd overtime as ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State defeated Mercyhurst North East 1-0.  ASC is now won two in a row and is 2-2-1 on the season.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College women's soccer team earned their 3rd straight shutout and 4th of the season on Saturday with a 4-0 road victory over Mercyhurst North East.  ASC is now 4-1 and has allowed just one goal.

For the second week in a row, the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College women's cross country team won an invitational.  The Lady Pioneers were victorious in the FLCC Invitational defeating #1 ranked Mohawk Valley CC.  The men's team finished 2nd out of seven teams.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College volleyball team battled hard but fell in two five-set Region III Division III matches at Monroe CC on Thursday.  ASC fell 23-25, 25-23, 21-25, 25-20, 11-15 to Finger Lakes CC and then saw Monroe CC rally to the win the final three sets (25-23, 25-23, 17-25, 20-25, 12-15) to win in the nightcap.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College men's soccer team picked up their first victory of the season on Thursday as they defeated Jamestown CC 3-0.

After a perfect showing at their first invitational of the year, the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College women's cross country team moved up five spots to the #4 ranking in the 2nd NJCAA Division III poll of the year.

Three first half goals helped the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College women's soccer team to a 4-0 victory over Jamestown CC on Tuesday.  The win improves the Lady Pioneers to 3-1 on the year with all victories coming via shutout.

Women's Cross Country runner Kim Lupo (Auburn) and volleyball player Ashley Hulse (Hammondsport) have been named the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College athletes of the week selected by the Sports Information office.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College baseball team could not solve defending Region III Division III champion Erie CC in a WNYAC doubleheader.  The Kats defeated ASC 7-1 and 11-2.
