The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College volleyball team won their first two matches at the Cara Bryant Memorial Tournament. The Lady Pioneers defeated Niagara CCC, ranked #7 in the latest NJCAA Division III poll, 25-23, 22-25, 15-13 and then downed SUNY Delhi 25-23, 25-20.

Lucas Wales (Bath) scored with eight minutes left to lift ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State to a 2-1 victory over Broome CC. The Pioneers are now 2-2-2 on the season.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College women's soccer team could not rally out of a 2-0 deficit and fell 2-1 to Broome CC in a Region III Division III contest. The Lady Pioneers are now 3-3 on the year.

Genesee CC snapped ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State's three-game winning streak with a 2-1 victory on Tuesday evening at Pioneer Stadium. GCC, ranked #5 in NJCAA Division III, broke a 1-1 tie with 22:14 remaining in the game.

74 Donate at Men's Basketball Blood Drive

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College men's basketball team hosted a blood drive on Sept. 15 and had 74 donors participate. The Pioneers partnered with the Community Blood Bank on the effort for the second year in a row.

Mike Lawandus connected on a 41-yard field goal in the first overtime as Erie CC defeated ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State 20-17 in a wild Homecoming contest. The win improves the Kats to 1-2 (1-0 NFC) while the Pioneers fall to 2-1 (0-1 NFC).
