The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College men’s cross country team won their second straight invitational taking home the crown at the FLCC Bruce Bridgeman Invitational. The women’s team finished 2nd.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College baseball team could not muster much offense as they were swept by identical 1-0 scores by Monroe CC. ASC is now 3-5 in the fall season.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College volleyball team won an exciting four game match, 17-25, 29-27, 30-28, and 25-11, over Monroe CC. The victory improves the Lady Pioneers to 6-4 and drops the Lady Tribunes to 6-4.

Lightning Postpones Men's Soccer

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College men's soccer game versus Jamestown CC was postponed due to frequent flashes of lightning. The teams had played less than 10 minutes. The two teams will make-up the game later in the season but no date has been determined yet.

1959 Men’s Basketball Team to be honored at Hall of Fame Ceremonies

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College athletic department will honor the 1959 Men’s Basketball team during the Athletic Hall of Fame induction ceremony to be held Friday in the Orvis Activities Center Auditorium. The 1959 squad won the first Region III Championship in ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State history and fourth ever in school history.

Four to be Inducted into Hall of Fame

Jody Alvarez (women’s soccer), Kirt Zimniewicz (baseball), Alison Brotherton (softball), and Gaffel Hippolyte (track & field) will be inducted at 6 p.m. in the Orvis Activities Center auditorium.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College baseball team split a WNYAC doubleheader vs. Erie CC on Sunday afternoon. The Kats won the opener 9-7 while the Pioneers won the nightcap 2-0. ASC is now 3-3 on the season.
