Continuing the theme of “Imagine,” ��Ӱֱ�� State College President Dr. John M. Anderson recently welcomed faculty and staff at the opening convocation for the spring academic semester. Using “imagine” as the springboard for his vision for the future of the College, Anderson reported on the progress that has been made since the autumn convocation.

The exhibit can be viewed during the Library’s regular hours: Monday – Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.; Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday from 1 to 7 p.m.; and Sunday from 1 to 11 p.m.

Coach Herman Boone, whose life and leadership inspired the film Remember the Titans, will be addressing student leaders at ��Ӱֱ�� State College as part of the campus-wide Living Your Legacy Leadership Retreat on Saturday, Jan. 22 at 12:45 p.m. in the Orvis Auditorium. This speaking event is open to the community, but all other aspects of the retreat are closed and open only to registered retreat participants.

“I worked for ACES catering when I was in college and over the summer and I knew that they sometimes used edible flowers for their dishes. I approached Bron Norasethaporn, the catering manager, to see if he would be willing to buy flowers from me,” Kacalski said.

The Llewellyn Art Gallery will present the work of sculptor Glenn Zweygardt from Jan. 17 through Feb.25. The Llewellyn Gallery is located in the Engineering Technology Building, room 312. Regular gallery hours are Monday through Friday 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

In this new position, Hall provides operational and programmatic support for the day-to-day activities of the President’s Office in addition to overseeing special projects. She engages in extensive interaction with all levels of internal and external campus constituencies, including College Council.

Students will depart in mid-January and return in early May.  During the semester, field trips are planned to Cairo, Capri, Paestum, Rome, Naples, Pompei and other Roman sites around Mt. Vesuvius.

The newly retooled car can travel 50 miles per charge, dependent on terrain and driving habits; can reach a top speed of 81 mph; can achieve 0-60 mph in 28 seconds. The car can be charged in four hours to charge on 220Volts, and eight hours on 115Volts.
