Those so honored were Deborah Claire, Arkport, senior programming analyst, Technology Services, who received her award for Professional Service, and Annette Burdett, Hornell, secretary, Physical and Health Sciences, who received her award for Classified Service.

Faculty and staff members who retired this year include Susan Button, Wellsville, keyboard specialist, Agriculture and Veterinary Technology; Larry Cornell, Greenwood, instructional support associate, Agriculture and Veterinary Technology;

Dr. Kellogg joined the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State faculty in 1970 after completing doctoral studies at the University of Rochester.  He is the author of three books on Sherlock Holmes and is a frequent contributor to popular magazines and professional journals.

Honored for 35 years was Betty Washburn, Almond, senior mail and supply clerk, Document Center.  She received a certificate and an ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College rosewood box to commemorate the occasion.

Those honored for 30 years included, Richard Carlo, ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ Station, professor, Computer Imaging and Architectural Engineering Technology; Michael Cobb, ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥, lecturer and chair, Social and Behavioral Sciences;

Those employees honored for 20 years included Craig Clark, ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥, dean, School of Applied Technology and executive director of the Wellsville campus; Susan Cole, Canisteo, secretary, School of Arts and Sciences;

Members of the faculty and staff at ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College were honored recently for their years of service at the college. Those employees honored for 10 years included Institutional Advancement;

As part of National Car Care Month, students performed free checks of automobiles’ lights, fluids, tires, battery, belts and pulleys, and an under-hood inspection.
