Darling, Cox, and Van Gorder to be inducted into Athletic Hall of Fame

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College athletic department will induct the 2008 Hall of Fame class during ceremonies on Friday September 12 as part of Homecoming activities.  Softball/basketball player Toni Darling (Johnston), bowler Gerry Cox, and baseball player Joe Van Gorder will join the 43 current members of the Hall of Fame. Holzer Donates $20,000 to his Alma Mater

Donald Holzer, Murfreesboro, TN, ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College class of 1956 (plant and soil science), recently donated $20,000 to his alma mater to help modernize the soils laboratory and provide students with more practical, hands-on techniques to evaluate soil properties and enhance soil quality. Mary Anne Blum Condon Returns to ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College

Mary Anne Blum Condon, Hornell, former associate professor of nursing at ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College, will return to campus Aug. 7, 2008, in a new role: she will work half-time in the President's Office serving as government relations coordinator and half-time as director of the BSN Program in the Nursing Department.
