ASC Will Participate in Bio Energy Awareness Days (BEAD II) in Washington, DC, in June

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College will participate in the United States Department of Agriculture's Research, Education, and Economics Agency's (USDA/REE) second annual Bio Energy Awareness Days (BEAD II) in Washington, DC, in June. The purpose of the event is to increase awareness and knowledge related to the sustainable production of agriculture-based and natural resource-based renewable energy and the efficient use and conservation of energy for the benefit of rural communities and the nation. Students Build Ramp for Local Family

Students enrolled in ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College's Building Trades curriculums have donated their time and talents to help a local family with a wheelchair-bound child by building a ramp at the house where the family lives to make mobility a little easier for the child and his family. Read Article

ROTC Ceremony

Three ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College seniors began their service to our country Saturday, May 17, 2008, at the Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) commissioning ceremony in the Allegany Room of the Central Dining Hall on the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State campus. The ceremony-the first of its kind held at ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State-was as steeped in tradition as the next day's commencement. Read Article
