Baseball to take on Genesee

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College baseball team will take on #2 Genesee CC in the semifinals of the Western New York Athletic Conference Championships.  First pitch of the contest will be at 11 a.m. at Genesee CC. Read Article

Pioneers advance to Final Four

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State used a four-run eighth inning to propel them to a 4-3 victory over Mercyhurst North East in a first round Western New York Athletic Conference contest.  Read Article

Lady Pioneers shut out Olean

Jody Ninos (÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ Almond) netted two goals and passed out an assist as the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College women's soccer team downed JCC-Olean 3-0 in a WNYAC contest.  A-State improves to 5-5-1 overall on the season and 4-5-1 in Region III Division III play. Read Article

Late Goals lead Pioneers past Erie

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State and Erie CC battled in a scoreless tie for the first 81 minutes but the Pioneers netted two goals in the final 8:20 to down the Kats 2-0.  With the win the Blue and Gold improve to 5-6-1 on the season and 5-4-1 in Region III Division III play. Read Article

Volleyball teammates Jenni Jerome (Syracuse/Westhill) and Shannon Jablonski (Cheektowaga) have been named the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College athletes of the week. Read Article

Jerome Named Region Athlete of the Week

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College freshman outside hitter Jenni Jerome (Syracuse/Westhill) has been named the Region III Female Athlete of the Week.  Jerome helped the Lady Pioneers volleyball team to an 8-0 week including a 7-0 record at the Onondaga CC Tournament. Read Article

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College hosted NYS Department of Agriculture and Markets Organic Agriculture Specialist Sarah Johnston recently for a full day of conversation on the needs of organic farmers in New York State and what role ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State's new Center for Organic and Sustainable Agriculture can play, now and in the future, at a WNY Organic Agriculture Roundtable. Baseball Earns #3 Seed

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College baseball team will be the #3 seed in this week's Western New York Athletic Conference tournament.  The Pioneers finished the fall WNYAC regular season with a 8-4 record and an overall record of 9-5. Read Article
