Students depart for Semester in the South to aid struggling communities

Applied Technology students working on house 54 for Wellsville community

The one-story, 2,972-square-foot, French country-style house will feature three bedrooms, a dining area, a spacious kitchen, an entertainment alcove, a laundry room, a small home office, two bathrooms, a covered rear porch with a fireplace, and a full basement.

Students, professor complete nine-day, 2,300-mile-long Great Race

After traveling more than 2,300 miles in nine days in a 1953 Dodge Power Wagon tow truck, a group of five ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State students and one professor arrived in Santa Monica, CA June 28, officially finishing The Great Race.

The menu will include jambalaya, gumbo, shrimp etouffée, muffuletta and po’boy sandwiches, king cake, pecan pralines, beignets, and much, much more. The cost, including beverages, is $15 per person or $7 for children under 10 years old.

Students construct, paint giant Santa Claus decoration for Wellsville community

The decoration, made of exterior plywood, is currently in front of the Wellsville Area Chamber of Commerce building, 114 N. Main St. in Wellsville. Students in the college’s building construction program built the Santa Claus and students in the digital media and animation program painted it.

The Culinary Arts Department and the Culinary Honors Club will be hosting an Oktoberfest Dinner on Thursday, Oct. 9 from 5-7:30 p.m. in the Culinary Arts dining area on the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State Wellsville campus at 2530 River Road. The cost is $15 for adults and $7 for children under 10.
