÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College baseball doubleheader scheduled for Tuesday (4/26) versus Onondaga CC has been moved to Wednesday, May 4th due to the wet weather that has caused havoc to area teams. 

After dropping the first game of their Region III Division III doubleheader with Tompkins Cortland CC 5-3, ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State won one of the wildest games in program history 22-21, scoring the winning run with two outs in the bottom of the 7th inning.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College track and field team wrapped up the regular season with a strong performance at the SUNY Geneseo Invitational.

Jefferson CC outscored ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State 7-3 in the 2nd half to earn a 9-5 victory in the Pioneers 2011 home finale. 

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College softball team got back on the field for the first time in a week and fell twice to Jamestown-Olean on Thursday.

Niagara CCC used big late innings to break open close games as they swept ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State 8-2 & 9-2 in a Region III Division III doubleheader played at Bolivar Richburg High School.  The blue & gold fall to 10-12 (6-9 RIII DIII) on the season while NCCC, ranked #3 in NJCAA Division III improve to 19-2 (11-0 RIII DIII).

Niagara CCC scored three runs in the bottom of the 5th inning to regain their lead en route to a 7-5 victory over ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State on Tuesday.  The second game of the doubleheader was suspended in the second inning with ASC leading 2-1.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College lacrosse team found the back of the net ten times in a 32-10 loss to #1 ranked Onondaga CC.  The ten goals scored against OCC (12-0) ties the most allowed by the Lazers in a game this season.

Megan Votava (÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ Almond) finished 3rd at the Region III Heptathlon while Alex Hewlett (Wellsville) was 4th in the Region III Decathlon.  The pair along with Randy Kelly (Hudson Falls) competed at the two-day event at SUNY Delhi.

In rain, snow, sleet, and peeks of sunshine, ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State and Finger Lakes CC split a Region III Division III doubleheader.  The Lakers used big innings to earn a 12-2 victory in game one while the Pioneers used a 5-run 3rd inning in game two en route to a 7-2 victory.
