Saturday's Region III Division III baseball doubleheader between ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State and Broome CC has been cancelled.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College softball team couldn't get the offense going as they in both halves of a WNYAC doubleheader at Mercyhurst North East.  The Saints no-hit the Pioneers 5-0 in the opener and won 11-3 in the nightcap.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College women's outdoor track & field team is one point behind Herkimer CCC after day one of the Region III Championships.  The men's team sits in 3rd in the competition held at SUNY Delhi.

For the sixth time since returning up north the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College baseball team split a Region III Division III doubleheader.   Onondaga CC scored four in the 7^th for a 7-3 win in the opener while ASC won the nightcap 4-2.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College softball team fell 12-3, 12-2 to #8 Corning CC (20-4) on Thursday afternoon.  ASC falls to 7-15 on the year and 4-10 in Region III Division III play.

Broome CC defeated ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State 22-4 in a Region III Division III lacrosse contest in Binghamton.  The Hornets improve to 9-6 on the year.

Both the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College men's and women's track & field teams are ranked #4 in this week's NJCAA Division III national poll.  The men's team remains 4th for the third straight week while the women fell two spots from last week's poll.

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College freshman baseball Garrett Hoag (Dansville) has been named the Region III co-male athlete of the week.  Hoag is the second Pioneer baseball player to earn the award this spring.

Thursday's ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College's baseball doubleheader versus Onondaga CC will be played at Bolivar Richburg High School.  First pitch is slated for 11 a.m.

Tuesday afternoon's home softball doubleheader vs. Broome CC has been postponed due to wet field conditions and threats of thunderstorms this afternoon.  The DH will be made up on Saturday, April 30 at 2 p.m.
