Professionals Attend Conference on Aging

About 150 professionals convened on the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College recently to attend the fourth annual Conference on Aging. Rose Marie Fagan, outreach coordinator, The Pioneer Network, who served as the morning's keynote speaker, discussed pioneering approaches to change the culture of aging from the traditional nursing facilities to a culture that is life affirming, satisfying, humane, and meaningful.

First-Place Winners Announced For SkillsUSA Day Leadership Conference and Skills Olympics

Students from Region I BOCES (Board of Cooperative Education and Services) districts--encompassing Western New York and the Southern Tier--competed recently in a SkillsUSA (formerly Vocational Industrial Clubs of America) Day leadership conference and skills Olympics at ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College, on both the Wellsville and ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ campuses, earlier this month. Several BOCES schools participated in the event.

Chinese Delegation Visits ASC

Through the efforts of Office of International Education, ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College hosted a delegation from China on March 22. The delegation consisted of 16 leaders from the Chinese education department, colleges, and high schools.
