��Ӱֱ�� State College is pleased to announce new members to the campus community. Recently hired are Sean Haggerty, Mark Kanellis, and Danielle White.

��Ӱֱ�� State College and National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH), a non-academic honor society consisting of the top 1% of student leaders, announces the winners of January’s “Of The Month” (OTM) Awards.

The ��Ӱֱ�� State College Drama Club will present the play Extremities, Friday and Saturday, Feb. 19 and 20, at 7 p.m. in the Orvis Auditorium on the ��Ӱֱ�� campus. The play is open to the public free of charge; no tickets are necessary. The play is rated “R” for strong sexual situations, language, and violence, and is not be suitable for children under 17.

Students enrolled in the culinary arts programs at ��Ӱֱ�� State College will prepare a Mardi Gras celebration, featuring a New Orleans-style menu, on Tuesday, Feb. 16, from 5-7 p.m., in the student cafeteria of the Culinary Arts Building on the Wellsville campus.

Nearly 1,000 BOCES students, their advisers, observers, parents, and guests from Western New York counties, including Allegany, Steuben, Monroe, Erie, Niagara, Orleans, Cattaraugus, and Ontario, will converge on the ��Ӱֱ�� State College (456 student competitors) campus and the ASC School of Applied Technology (287 student competitors) campus, Wellsville, where they will compete in their areas of study.

��Ӱֱ�� State College is partnering with Cattaraugus-Allegany BOCES to sponsor the first annual Renewable Energy and Conservation Methods Information night, Thursday, Feb. 18, 2010, 5:30-8:30 p.m., at the BOCES Center, 1825 Windfall Rd., Olean. (Snow date will be Thursday, Feb. 25.)

��Ӱֱ�� State College students, faculty, and staff continue their fund raising efforts for Haiti relief and are pleased to note that the college community has so far raised $5,779.24 for , directed by Neil Van Dine,

Stick dolls, dove tiles, and tin clocks are among the works on display at the Hinkle Memorial Library gallery at ��Ӱֱ�� State College from now until the end of February. The exhibit features the creations of three members of the Allegany Artisans: Betsy and Charles Orlando of Belmont and Elaine Hardman of Wellsville.
