��Ӱֱ�� State College students enrolled in the baccalaureate-level Grants, Contracts, and Organizational Advancement, an inaugural course in the recently established human services management program.

��Ӱֱ�� State College and National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH), a non-academic honor society consisting of the top 1% of student leaders, announces the winners of November’s “Of The Month” (OTM) Awards.

Awardees include:

��Ӱֱ�� State College’s WINS Club (Women in Non-traditional Studies--though membership is open to all students) recently conducted its annual fund raiser to buy presents for a local family sponsored by Steuben Rural Ministry of Canisteo. Clothing donations were also received from the ��Ӱֱ�� State community.

The SkillsUSA Club members of ��Ӱֱ�� State College’s School of Applied Technology recently conducted a food and gift drive for the soldiers fighting overseas. Members placed collection boxes in each department on campus and collected and mailed nine boxes of foodstuffs and other items.

��Ӱֱ�� State College has announced that it has received an estate gift of approximately $121,000 from Dorothy and Lester Reynolds. The Reynolds designated that the gift be used to establish a prize to be awarded annually to the student demonstrating the greatest achievement in the field of mathematics.

Smiles were the order du jour as ��Ӱֱ�� State College and ACES (Auxiliary Campus Enterprises and Services) officials and contractors cut the ribbon at the new Terrace Dining Room at the Central Dining Hall on the ��Ӱֱ�� campus.

Although ��Ӱֱ�� State College can be justifiably proud of its diverse and tasty student dining experience, does that automatically equate to customer satisfaction? Happily, the answer to that question is a resounding yes!

Electrician, Computer and Robotics Technician Department, ��Ӱֱ�� State College, recently presented at NYSERDA’s (New York State Energy Research and Development Authority) national conference, “PV [photovoltaic] and Wind:  Train the Trainer,” which focused on new ideas in educating a work force in renewable energy and energy efficiency.

��Ӱֱ�� State College faculty and staff enhanced their own holiday spirit by contributing toys, hats, gloves, and scarves as their “admission” to the college’s annual holiday party.
