The Board of Directors of the Educational Foundation of ��Ӱֱ��, Inc., has announced its slate of officers for 2009-10.

David G. Haggstrom, Angelica, has been named to the board of the Educational Foundation of ��Ӱֱ��, Inc. As a board member, Haggstrom will contribute his skills to the management of the property affairs, business, and concerns of the corporation; he will also participate in the adoption of resolutions and regulations for the conduct of the management of the affairs of the corporation.

Dr. John 0. Hunter, former president of ��Ӱֱ�� State College (1986-93), returned to campus in late October for the ERGO Fall Poetry Reading.

Members of the planning team for the Center for Organic and Sustainable Agriculture (COSA) at ��Ӱֱ�� State College met recently to “seal the deal” with Agricultural Engineering Services, PLLC, (AES), Auburn, chosen by ASC to be the lead engineers for the College’s new Dairy Facility Expansion.

Three ��Ӱֱ�� State College Building Trades students, Jake Vincent, Lakeview, Christopher Fronczak, Lancaster, and Evan Sheffer, Albion, have been chosen to participate in ABC’s “Extreme Makeover Home Edition” show.

Smiles were the order of the day recently as Cristiana Panicco (second from left) director, , traveled to ��Ӱֱ�� State College to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with ��Ӱֱ�� State to offer joint study abroad programs.

��Ӱֱ�� State College’s Department of English and Humanities has undertaken a semester-long project on climate change. Students in some composition sections have been researching climate change and writing papers on various narrow topics related to it. The final examination for all sections of the foundation writing courses will also focus on climate change, and the exam itself will be written during the United Nations Conference on Climate Change in Copenhagen in December.

Students enrolled in ��Ӱֱ�� State College’s motorsports technology program recently traveled to Mooresville and Concord, NC, to get an insider’s view of professional racing.
