"Snippets" Exhibit at Wellsville Creative Arts Center

Pennisi, instructor in the digital media and animation program of ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College, has an exhibit in the Wellsville Creative Arts Center through June 4.  The exhibit, "Snippets," is comprised of traditional and digital images from three different bodies of work interrelated by process.

Kiddie Ag Day

Masonry Students Awarded

Two masonry seniors enrolled in ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College's School of Applied Technology Building Trades/masonry program were recently awarded the Southern Tier Concrete Products, Inc., Achievement Award for Excellence in the trowel trades.

ASC Recipient of Outstanding Humane Organization Collaborative Award

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College was the recipient, earlier this month, of the Outstanding Humane Organization Collaborative Award, presented by the Finger Lakes SPCA.  This award "recognizes the extraordinary compassion and collaborative spirit with the Finger Lakes SPCA for the benefit of those who cannot speak for themselves."  ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College (students, faculty, and staff) supported the August 2008 Equine Rescue led by the Finger Lakes SPCA.

Shell of Workforce Development Center Completed

Supporters of ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College gathered at the School of Applied Technology campus recently to celebrate the completion of Phase I of the Construction Workforce Development Center-the shell has been completed and the building fully enclosed.  It awaits funding to complete the interior.

Nearly 900 two-and four-year graduates, their families, professors, and friends will be on hand Sunday, May 17, at noon, as ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College honors its 98th graduating class.

Presiding over the ceremony will be Dr. John M. Anderson, college president.

The ceremony will be held at McLane Center on the neighboring ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ University campus. Graduates will need to use the tickets in their graduation packets for their families' admission.

Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work® Day
