��Ӱֱ�� State College's School of Applied Technology, Wellsville, hosted the 11th annual New York State Postsecondary (college level) SkillsUSA competition in March.

Senior leadership at ��Ӱֱ�� State College has unanimously agreed to forfeit their upcoming raises in order to offset current budget deficits and give back to the College in this difficult financial climate.

The 10th annual ��Ӱֱ�� State College Regional Science and Technology Fair will take place Friday, April 3, 2009, from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Orvis Activities Center gymnasium on the ��Ӱֱ�� campus.

Dr. John C. Williams, associate professor and chair, Mechanical Engineering Technology Department, ��Ӱֱ�� State College, was recently elected chair of the Engineering Technology Division (ETD) of the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE), which functions to support individual member interests related to the field of engineering technology.

��Ӱֱ�� State College employees are once again invited to participate in the annual Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work^® Day on Thursday, April 23.

ASC opens this activity up not only to daughters and sons, but also to granddaughters, grandsons, nieces, and nephews between the ages of nine and 15.

��Ӱֱ�� State College students enrolled in the School of Applied Technology will have the opportunity to visit with prospective employers during the Wellsville Career Fair, Thursday, March 26, from 1-3 p.m. in the Culinary Arts Building on the Wellsville campus.

��Ӱֱ�� State College will celebrate the academic achievements of its students during the 25th annual Honors Convocation slated for Sunday, April 19, at 4 p.m. in the Orvis Gymnasium on the ��Ӱֱ�� campus.

The convocation recognizes the outstanding work of students through acknowledgement of membership in a variety of honor societies as well as the conferment of scholarships and special recognitions.��

Kell Orlando (Seneca Falls) is not your ordinary ��Ӱֱ�� State College student.  Orlando, a freshman motor sports technology major taking classes on the Wellsville campus, has his sights set on one day representing the USA in the Olympics on the curling ice.

��Ӱֱ�� State College's Office of Career Development will host a "WINS" (Women in Non-traditional Studies) FutureBound Career Day, Friday, March 27, from 8:30 a.m.-2:15 p.m., at the Orvis Activities Center on the ��Ӱֱ�� campus.
