Now that Danica Patrick has become the first woman in a century to win a major racing event after driving into the winner's circle at the Indy Japan 300, it's a sure bet that females will soon become a more common sight in racing. Softball ends season with a sweep

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College softball team got the bats going as they swept ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ University JV, 18-10 & 10-1, to wrap up the 2008 season.  With the wins the Blue and Gold finish Head Coach Michael Caba's first season with a 10-28 record. Read Article

Blue and Gold finish as Regional Runner-Up

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College men's outdoor track and field team finished as the Region III runner-up at this weekend's Region III Championships held at ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State.  The Pioneers scored 160 points and finished 35.5 points behind Region III Champion SUNY Cobleskill. Read Article

Lady Pioneers finish 5th at Outdoor Regionals

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College women's outdoor track and field team finished 5th at the Region III Championships held at ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College this weekend.  The Lady Pioneers scored 92 points during the two day event. Read Article

Pioneers season comes to end after heartbreaking loss

Monroe CC scored two runs in the bottom of the 9th to erase a one-run deficit and win 8-7 over ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State in a Region III Division II Tournament contest.  With the loss the Pioneers season comes to an end with a 23-15-1 record while the Tribunes are one win from the Regional title. Lady Pioneers fall at Herkimer

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College softball team had its chances in game two of a doubleheader at Herkimer CCC but were unable to captiatlize and fell 4-2 after dropping the opener 11-4.  The Lady Pioneers are now 8-28 on the year heading into their season finale on Sunday afternoon. Read Article

Men in 1st, Women 4th after Day One at Regionals

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College track and field team had three individual event winners in day one action at the Region III Championships.  The men's team is currently sitting in 1st place out of the seven teams while the women are in 4th. Read Article

Saints Rally to Down A-State

The Mercyhurst North East baseball team scored three runs in the top of the 9th inning to rally for a 4-3 victory over ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State in a Region III Division II Tournament contest.  The Pioneers fall to 23-14-1 on the year and will now face a must win contest versus #1 seed Monroe CC on Saturday afternoon beginning at Noon.
