WNY Counselor Tour Program

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College recently hosted 40 school counselors as part of the annual Western New York Counselor Tour Program, under the auspices of the WNY Consortium of Higher Education, where participants spend three days visiting various regional college campuses to become better acquainted with campus programs and facilities, as well as receive updates on the latest upgrades and curriculums.  Read Article

Honors Convocation Held at ASC

Freshman Advocate Award

Corning downs A-State

Corning CC got strong pitching performances as they held ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State to just one hit in a Region III softball doubleheader sweep, 11-0 & 9-0, on Thursday afternoon.  CCC improves to 21-8 overall and 19-5 in Region III Division III contests while the Lady Pioneers fall to 8-26. Read Article

Commencement 2008

Some 900 two- and four-year graduates, their families, professors, and friends will be on hand Sunday, May 18, at noon, as ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College honors its 97th graduating class. Presiding over the ceremony will be Dr. John M. Anderson, college president. Read Article

Lax falls in Regional Opener

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College lacrosse team started slow and never could recover as they fell 19-7 to Hudson Valley CC in a Region III Tournament 1st round match-up played in Troy, NY on Tuesday afternoon.  ASC finishes the season 8-6 while HVCC advances the semi-finals to take on the winner of #2 Onondaga CC and #7 Jefferson CC. Baseball splits with Finger Lakes

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College baseball team split their final regular season doubleheader at Finger Lakes CC on Tuesday.  FLCC got a walk-off homer by Zach Eason in game one to win 8-7 but the Pioneers collected 17 hits in the nightcap in a 15-1 victory. Read Article

Lady Pioneers battle tough vs. Broome

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College softball team battled tough in a doubleheader at Broome CC but came away with two hard fought losses.  The Blue and Gold fell 10-3 in the opener and then couldn't rally all the way back from a 4-1 hole and fell 4-3 in game two. Read Article
