÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College baseball team swept a pair, 5-4 and 13-2, from Ithaca College JV on Tuesday afternoon.  The wins snap a three game losing streak and improves the Pioneers to 16-13 on the season.

Genesee CC scored four runs in the 7th inning to rally for a 8-7 victory in game one and then held on for a 4-2 victory in game two to sweep ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State in a Region III Division II doubleheader.  ASC falls to 14-13 (1-3 RIII DII) while GCC improves to 11-10 (3-1 RIII DII).

Ten different Pioneers found the back of the net as ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State won their second game in a row 23-10 over Niagara CCC.  The blue & gold improve to 4-7 on the season and 4-5 in Region III contests.

Saturday and Sunday baseball and softball doubleheaders have been cancelled due to the cold and wet weather that has plagued the southern tier. 

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College outdoor track & field team continued their busy schedule as they competed at the SUNY Brockport Invitational on Saturday.  ASC was one of eight teams that competed in cool and damp conditions.

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State won 23 out of 29 faceoffs in a 20-5 victory over Finger Lakes CC on Friday afternoon.  The blue & gold are now 3-7 on the season heading into their final four games of the regular season.

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State and Genesee CC split their opening Region III Division II doubleheader at Dwyer Park in Batavia on Thursday.  ASC won the opener 6-5 but fell on a walk-off homer in the nightcap 7-4.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College softball team fell to Genesee CC, 8-4 & 16-8, in a WNYAC doubleheader on Thursday.  The Lady Pioneers fall to 8-10 overall and 5-6 in Region III Division II play.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College baseball team split a doubleheader at Lakeland (OH) CC on Wednesday afternoon.  The Pioneers (13-10) won the opener 11-4 but fell 3-2 to in the nightcap.

Both the men's and women's ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State track & field teams sit in the latest NJCAA Division III top ten.  The women are ranked #5 while the men are ranked #8.
