÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College officials are pleased to announce the approval by SUNY (State University of New York) and the NY State Education Department of a new bachelor of technology (BTech) program in computer security, Information Security and Assurance, which will begin accepting students for the spring 2009 semester.

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College is pleased to announce that nearly all of its farm (Center for Organic and Sustainable Agriculture-COSA) land has been officially certified "organic" by NOFA-NY (Northeast Organics Farming Association).

Students enrolled in the Culinary Arts programs at the School of Applied Technology of ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College will prepare a holiday buffet on Thursday, Dec. 4, from 5-7 p.m. in the student dining hall of the Culinary Arts Building on the Wellsville campus.  Cost is $15 (all inclusive) per person.

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College's Peer Tutoring Program was the recipient recently of a check for $3,000, the first installment of a $6,000 commitment made by the ASC Student Senate, to help defray the cost of the program's operation. 

The junior class of architectural technology students at ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College participated and placed first in a National Design Competition sponsored by the Tilt-Up Concrete Association and the Portland Cement Association.

When ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College completed its new $3.2M outdoor athletic facility, a problem remained: a facility that big is simply too big to photograph from the ground.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College WINS (Women in Non-traditional Studies--though the club is open to all students) Club hosted three visitors to campus last month to talk to the WINS Club members during the 17^th annual Women in the Field Dinner.
